Happy 2025!

Happy New Year! I hope the start of this new year is treating you kindly. I know it is not for some people (thinking about the massive wildfires in California as I write this), and my heart goes out to you. I hope you get support and healing, and the rest of the year is kinder.

For my part, January is its usual crazy start to the new year, but it's mostly good stuff, so I will take that!

This month, I have a new Joan of Kerry story out! And a short story from the last Haunts and Howls collection has released as a standalone story. The third Stories from the Café story is up at The Café now as well!

This has a bit of a holiday, Christmas-y theme to it, and romance readers will finally get their payout for this slow burn romance! More details next month.

For my print readers, do not despair! I will have the full collection of this first season of Dragon Thief available in print in 2025. In fact, I am planning a fun Kickstarter for a special edition hardback as well as having some fancy paperbacks and an ordinary paperback edition. So print readers will get all the good stuff! More on that as I start setting things up, but there will be paperbacks, I promise.

As promised I have completely decked out KatSimonsBooks for Halloween and even if you don't buy your books directly there, you really have to see the place. The main page feels like I tossed a bunch of black and orange sprinkles all over the place! LOL. 

Next month, if I get everything lined up the way I'd like, I will have a little surprise launching at the store (which will include free reading!) I've been hinting, I know. But since November 1st is my particular witchy New Year's day, I feel like it's a good time to launch this new venture. Check the site in early November or check back here for more information!
